# Cells and Map Technology

Our CELLS were generated using "S2", a library for spherical geometry, we found exactly 29886 Level 7 Cells that contain at least a bit of land that is recognized as part of a Country or Territory. Read more about S2 Geometry here: <https://s2geometry.io/about/overview>&#x20;

On the MAP we use Mapbox, Leaflet and OpenStreetMap, this allow us to create variants of maps for future uses.
